OCIA (Order of Catholic Initiation of Adults)

OCIA is the process whereby one is fully joined to the Catholic Church.  It is for everyone over the age of reason (usually 7 years of age) who is either unbaptized or never completed instruction for the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation).

If you have a child who is over the age of seven who is either unbaptized or never completed instruction for sacraments, please contact PREP@stgabrielnorwood.org for information on how to complete your child’s religious instruction.
